Rabbi Zohn is the Director of the Chevra Kadisha of the Vaad Harabonim of Queens and the founder and President of the National Association of Chevra Kadisha (NASCK). Widely respected as an expert in traditional Jewish burial practices, he established NASCK in 1996 to support and unite Jewish burial societies across the U.S. and Canada. The organization helps these groups uphold high standards of respect and dignity for the deceased in accordance with Jewish tradition. Since the early 1980s, Rabbi Zohn has also served as the director of the Queens Jewish Burial Society.
