RABBI DR. DOVID FOX

Rabbi Dr. Dovid Fox is a forensic and clinical psychologist, and director of crisis intervention, trauma and bereavement support services for Chai Lifeline International. As a graduate school professor, he has been on the faculty of the University of Southern California, California School of Professional Psychology, and Associate Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He has published in scientific journals, is the author of Confluence, a monthly column of case histories on psychological and spiritual functioning, and is the author of one book and numerous chapters. He serves as the rabbi of the Hashkama Minyan of Young Israel of Hancock Park and as a dayan [rabbinical judge] on the rabbinic courts of Jerusalem. He has published widely in rabbinic and Judaic sources and has lectured frequently and broadly on five continents. His clinical and research specializations include diagnosis, treatment, trauma, culture and spirituality, law and ethics. He is on the Board of Nefesh, has chaired international and national conferences, and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, and the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards.

RABBI EPHRAIM GOLDFEIN, ESQ.

Rabbi Goldfein is an ordained rabbi and seasoned attorney with over 30 years of national experience in complex litigation, particularly in personal injury and medical-legal cases. In his many years of experience, he has also witnessed and dealt with the issue of emotional abuse. He has defended hundreds of cases at trial and on appeal, often providing strategic litigation planning in high-stakes matters. Known for his engaging CLE presentations across Pennsylvania and New York, including for the Institute for Jewish Ethics, Rabbi Goldfein combines legal expertise with Talmudic and ethical insight. He earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Columbia University. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania and New York, Rabbi Goldfein holds an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating.
